Grade 12 Graduating Student Alina Arvisais To Receive An $80,000 Schulich Leader Scholarship

Our Lady of the Snows congratulates Grade 12 student Miss Alina Arvisais who has been selected to receive an $80,000 Schulich Leader Scholarship to study Biochemistry at University of Waterloo!

Miss Arvisais will be entering the Bachelor of Science Co-op Program this fall. She was selected by school principal, Mr. Phil Puurunen for her outstanding academic and extra-curricular achievements. This is the first Nominee to win a Schulich Leader Scholarship at Our Lady of the Snows Catholic Academy, part of Christ the Redeemer Catholic Schools.

“Schulich Leader Scholarship recipients are the best and brightest STEM students in Canada,” says Schulich. “I truly believe that many of these students will make great contributions to society, both on a national and global scale. With their university expenses covered, they can focus their time on their studies, research projects, extracurriculars, and entrepreneurial ventures.
